The I.E.T. -Independent English theatre is a new, professional and permanent English speaking theatre company based in Rome, committed to producing high quality theatre.

 

The company  is composed of an international group of professional directors, actors and backstage, all who are native English speakers  and dedicated to:

 

 

· providing and promoting quality theatre in English 

· the integration and exploration of  cultures

· to increase knowledge  of the English language

· to offer an opportunity of experiencing plays in their original language

· to encourage diverse genres of theatre

L’Independent English Theatre è una nuova compagnia teatrale professionale con sede a Roma. Si propone come teatro di alta qualità ed è costituita prevalentemente da registi, attori ed un backstage di professionisti in prevalenza madrelingua con l’ obiettivo di:  

 

• produrre e promuovere teatro di qualità in lingua inglese;

• creare un’ occasione di integrazione culturale;

• favorire la diffusione dell’esperienza teatrale italiana tra le comunità di lingua inglese residenti e tra i turisti in visita nella Capitale;

• accrescere le opportunità di approfondimento sulla lingua inglese e la cultura anglo-americana;

• contribuire alla diffusione della cultura teatrale in generale e dell’interesse per il teatro d’autore, mediante esperienze di qualità dal punto di vista dell’allestimento e della recitazione.
